Remarks: Emulates most of offshore area of NAD27 / BLM zone 16 (ftUS) (CRS code 32066) to better than 6 ft, but south of 26°N differences can exceed 15ft. Emulation embeds change of ellipsoid and of unit (ftUS to ft). Note: SPCS2022 CRSs normally have axis order N-E; this emulation of SPCS27 uses SPCS27 order east (X) - north (Y).
