Scope: Geodesy. Active GNSS network / Continuously Operating Reference Station (CORS) network.

Remarks: Observations were adjusted in ITRF2005 at epoch 2007.79 and the coordinates of EPN station AUT1 in Thessaloniki then aligned to ETRF2005 at epoch 2007.5 following the EUREF conventions. Due to the complex geodynamic conditions over the area, the three geocentric translations derived at AUT1 were applied to all other stations. After the EUREF Governing Board recommended not to use ETRF2005 and instead adopt ETRF2000, the HTRS07 coordinates were re-estimated in ITRF2005 at epoch 2007.83 and aligned to ETRF2000 strictly following the EUREF conventions. The Hellenic Positioning System (HEPOS) coordinates continue to be referenced to ETRF2005 at epoch 2007.5. The maximum differences between ETRF2000 at epoch 2007.83 and ETRF2005 at epoch 2007.5 are less than 2 cm in the horizontal components and 4 cm in the ellipsoidal height. In the tectonic setting of Greece, for practical applications of the static reference frame these differences are considered negligible.
